question on a 86 supra [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

determines, switch, thinking, modulator, valve, gears, cars, pressure, supra, vacuum, enthusiast, gear, celica/supra, reverse, question, fellow, toyota, automatic, buddy

So i have a buddy with a celica/supra and it doesnt get out of first gear. and it doesnt go into reverse its an automatic btw. trying to help a fellow toyota enthusiast im thinking a modulator valve, but im not sure how it determines when to switch gears...or where it is. I know vacuum pressure determines on some cars, but thats why im asking.
