Disabled power steering, please help. [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So the power steering system is disabled on my car from the previous owner. thats all i know. the P/S light on the guage cluster doesnt pop up when i turn the key to ON. before I start tearing this thing apart wanted to know what the procedure were to disable the the power steering in the first place, so i can just reverse it. looking through the manual right now, just so i can get an idea. just wanted to ask some knowledgable people first too. thanks
