having trouble with reving!! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

i have a problem with my car, when in gear or neutral and i rev up the engine at soft or full throttle the electronics(i.e. stereo, check engine light, etc.) die out at around 4500 -5500 n ofcourse the engine eventually cuts out.. what could it be???
