Strange headlight issue...electrical problem? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I am not able to get my high beams to work on the drivers side. Obviously, I thought it was a bad headlamp and have even tried several different headlamps. This is not the case. We have good connections, and have even used a current tester to make sure I am getting current to the wires. We even cleaned them, and made sure that this was not causing the issue. Even with the headlight plugged in, the current tester is showing current, but with the high beams on, it is showing a positive
