Changing oil in my MR2 Turbo [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Just bought my mr2 so no idea what oil and filter its using. This is the first oil change since i got the car. Just went and bought Valvoline Full Synthetic 10w-30 and a fram oil filter. Been reading and i dont think i want to use fram on my mr2 and i read that the Toyota oem filter is the best? need suggestion on the oil and the oil filter... edit:using royal purple 10w-30 full synthetic with oem filter but im curious about the royal purple filter, have anyone tried it?
