Does it make any difference? Turbo engine lid or N/A lid? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

a guy is selling a turbo engine lid here locally for $20. and it is in my car color, crimson red. pretty good deal, or so i think so! :) but anyways, my car is only 5sfe. just wondering does it make any kind of difference to have a turbo lid?? such as the way air is circulated? why are the turbo vents popped up? to house spal fans? i will be doing a 3sgte swap, but its not coming ASAP. prolly in the next year or so after i pay off some bills.
