i have 2nd gen mr2 turbo shift cable questions [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So recently i think i snapped my shift linkage on my 91 mr2 turbo i checked it out myself and the cablesmove slightly when the shifter is rocked from side to side and no movment at all going up and down. I also took it in and they said the cable was no good! So... my question is... can you use a non turbo 2nd gen mr2 shift cable on a turbo mr2??
