(this article assumes you have a multimeter, and are reasonably familiar with it) Electrical diag isnt something that most people are incredibly comfortable with.. its understandable, it can be a complicated system! All though the mr2 uses a fairly simple electrical control system, the diagnostics it does on itself isnt very straight forward. On OBD2 cars, they use a logical process to determine faults.. this means it takes data from the sensor and compares it to other engine running
