Just Purchased MR2 Overboosting to fuel cut!!? HELP! [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hey people i just bought this mr2 on vancouver island and it seemed to be running GREAT But as soon as i really learned how to drive it (With lack of power steering) I started givin her a bit of pedal. As soon As the boost is clocking up the cars engine light turns on and cuts off all spark. At First i thought it was ignition so i replaced all ignition parts (Plugs, WIres, Distributor, Cap, Rotor, Coil). It ran much much better but it would still cut out I found out it was OVERBOOSTING
