This is not an MR2 specific problem. My neighbor has an old Ford Taurus wagon FWD V6. She keeps taking the car back to the shop because it overheats. Everything cooling related has been changed out and it still overheats. From what she has told me, I suspect she has a block full of iron oxide debris.
