D4-ATF for manual transmission? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I have a S54 transmission. I use redline MT-90. My manager at work says that redline d4 atf would also work in a manual trans. The bottle is misleading as to weather or not it will work on a manual. It says it offers a API 70w90 protection... but it is so thin and it is an ATF. I looked it up online and it seems like the BMW guys have tried it but there is mixed results. I am not really planning on using it but I am curious. I
