My 2 was dead yesterday so i took the battery to my local pepboys and they said the battery is dead. so i got a new battery, when i installed it, i got power back. But when i start the car the battery light on my dash keeps going on. The needle on the battery gauge on the dash also point all the way to 18, which is the highest number on the gauge. usually its around the middle of the solid bar in the battery gauge. So whats wrong with my 2? Do i need a new alternator? how much do those run?
