Ok well heres my situation. I had changed my oil about 6 months ago, i used castrol gtx and a fram oil filter, ya i know, i didnt know about the details before this. So anyways i do want to change my oil again now that its been 6 months, but i have hardly driven it, and my parents are saying im wasteing money, and they arent letting me change it for another 2-3 months. What im wondering is should i at least change the filter or would that be a waste of money? Would this fram one be sufficient
