spray on spray off degreaser, car wash question [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Ok i was wondering if theres any kind of spray on and hose off kind of engine degreaser? im finding it hard to scrub in a lot of places that need to be cleaned in order for me to tell where my oil leak is. Another question is how safe is it getting a car wash with the underbody thing to clean the tranny of all the caked up oil and stuff, wont it cause problems if the tranny and engine are hot and get sprayed with lots of water?
