3S-GTE USDM Turbo Engine, fuel, check, engine, kicked, night, additive, clue, pound, hours, pass, today, headed, work, driving, stepped, boost, light, spool, started

Today I was headed to work. And I was driving about 3 hours. And than I went to pass a big rig stepped on the gas. Car started to spool than hit one pound of boost than check engine light came on and fuel cut kicked in. And it has never done that before. Does anyone have a clue what it could be? I but some fuel additive in when I got gas last night.
