5S-FE MK2 Non-Turbo Engine, clip, seat, celica, male, belt, inset, seats, female, replace, insert, defiantly, standerd, easier, great, properly, driver, side, toyota, belts, grinded

I have these Celica GT seats in my 2, and never been able to properly use the seat belts because the male clip from the MR2 belt wont fit the female inset from the Celica seat. The Driver side clip was grinded down from what I can see to fit the clip insert on the seat, but its defiantly not a great fit. Could I just replace the male clip on the belt from the standerd MR2 to a Celica clip? Or easier to replace the female inset on the seat? Thanks
