My MR2 caught on fire today. I was at my brothers shop today. Just finish the oil change, pulled it out the bay and left it running. started changing one of the dead taillight bulbs. when i notice the engine was smoking white. :wtf: What the F*%$#. grabbed the water hose, sprayed it down a lil. It was the Alternator. i replaced it on saturday too. pulled it back in the bay, double checked all the wiring to Alt, and the belt. Everything was fine.:ugh: No clue. The batt lights on too.
