Hey everyone, Ok so To start I have a 91 MR2; LHD; mechanical speedometer; non-turbo 2.2L.. It all started one day when I went to start my car and everything started flickering like crazy (so first instinct to take out the key (OFF position) but yet still kept flickering) I smelled a bit of burning which I found my throttle cable to be red hot, and I had to quick pop the hood and take out the spare tire before i could remove the ground to the battery.
