Hey guys I bought an MR2 back in March with the P/S Light on and just decided to try and fix it about a week ago. I followed the book I have and narrowed it down to the ECU or the Pump. Well I took a gamble on a ECU on Ebay and it fixed my P/S for about 300 miles and it worked perfectly. Today though the light came back on and the P/S is working for about 30 sec when I start the car but then the pump starts to smoke out of the top. This throws code 21 which is overheating.
