strange side to side shake from rear end [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

I was out shaking down the new MR2 today after doing some of the usual maintenance stuff to it. I noticed that there was a very disconcerting side to side shake from the rear end when I hit 40 mph or so, also when going over bumps. I bought this from a guy who had it sitting for a while, but he thought it was a out of balance wheel. I took a look at the suspension back there from underneath, and everything seems to check out, more or less, but here is what I saw: 1. Strut boots are ripped on
