- Hi I have taken my taillights out as they are in severe need of cleaning and was looking for some info on how to get to the colored plastics; I want to clean them and touch them up with some stained glass paint from the inside. There is a black plastic panel that covers the entire colored plastic of the taillight. Is it possible to remove the black plastic covering?
