- When I bought this 3SGTE it had no main pulley bolt and the keyway in the timing belt sprocket had chattered away until the motor was WAY out of time and made only about 55lbs of compression. I got that all fixed with a new sprocket, etc., but when I put in my new pulley bolt, it starts out making 5 or 6 beautiful, perfect revolutions and then gets harder and harder like the deeper threads are maybe crossed.
