ATS/GM knock sensor gap and hose from oil cooler [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

Hi all, 1) I put the ATS racing GM sensor, then the sensor itself into the knock location, and there seems to be a gap between sensor and adapter. Is this normal? (tightened to 27ft lbs) see image.... 2) there is a coolant hose going from the oil cooler to the waterpump I believe.....any tricks to getting this thing on ? it seems to be a major paint 3) Lastly, the
