- Hey Guys, I have a 1993 MR2 Automatic that I purchased several months back. I am impressed with the way this car handles. It needs to be 5 speed turbo though and will probably convert it down the road. I converted a 1988 300 zx N/A Auto to a turbo 5 speed back in 2001. Anyway, I believe that the trans brake is not disengaging when I put the transmission in reverse. Is this an issue anyone has heard of? I have never had this issue with any other car.
