HOW DO I KNOW WHEN THE TURBO IS BAD ?? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

turbo, slamming, door, thoughts, back, backside, shut, kinda, starts, assuming, dies, loss, barely, issues, fires, moves, gauge, fine, throttle, boost, feel

ok, heres my issues..... i have a 93 turbo, car fires up fine but when you throttle up boost gauge barely moves and then you can feel air slamming back into the backside of the MAF slamming door shut and the car dies but starts right up again.......kinda at a loss, im assuming its the turbo....thoughts??
