I am having problems shifting my gen 3 trans into first gear and in to reverse. Also I am having problems downshifting. The weird thing is when the car is on jack stands it shifts into all of the gears almost perfectly. Has anyone had this problem before or any clues on how to fix it. Final note with further inspection it seems there is a snap ring that is loose on the driver side. Could the weight of the car be pushing on the axle causing the problem ?
