Greddy Profec piece in my engine, but not connected to anything? What to do with it? [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

So I just picked up this 92 JDM turbo and I found this silver box in my engine bay with Greddy Profec on it. After some searching I have found that I think it is part of an electronic boost controller. However there is no boost controller in the interior anywhere so I guess the previous owner removed it. Anyway, what do I do with this thing? Can I just detach it and throw it away? Or is it still good for anything? The thicker long hose attached to it runs to just near the turbo but isn
