ok I have been thinking about 2 things when it comes to making my shift throw shorter. The first is, if the point of the short throw shifters is to pull the cable further with less of a shifter movement couldnt the shift cables just be shortend? The other was to lift the shifter plate and use a spacer like the twos-r-us one but thicker thus droping the shifter even lower and moving the link cable up higher on the shifter? Has anyone tryed this, or dose anyone see a reason this would not
