3S-GTE JDM 3rd Gen Turbo Engine, back, scratch, retried, buddy, forward, push, fine, pulling, work, highs, turn, troubles, similar, pretty, pull, multimeter, highbeam, stalk

Tricky situation and need suggestions on where to start looking. Headlights work, foglights work. Highbeams work when I pull the headlight stalk towards me for the flash function, But if I push the stalk forward for the highbeams to stay on, my headlights turn off. Now I figure its the switch. Am I right?
