On a local Facebook car sales page I found someone selling a 1990 MR2 for $2000. From what I can see it has the 3S-GE and a 5-speed manual. It has 217,000 kilometres on the clock (134,000 miles) and looks to be in pretty good condition. As far as the mechanical condition of the car goes, he said that the rear tires will need replacing soon, and that a valve stem seal is on the way out, but will be fine for a good while.
