- Hi all,
My alternator crapped out. Got a used one, ready to put it on. Took out my old one and the electrical connecter is not a single three-pronged plug, but three individual wires with leads. One red, one black, one white. My question is - does it matter which wire plugs into which prong? I checked the BGB but it seems to show a three-prong plug that only goes in one way?
