Melted Fillers

I just got a new filler and the same thing happen to it as the last one. The little plastic part that connects the hose from the coolant reservoir MELTED off. It happened to the first one as well. The coolant temperature was hot enough to melt the piece right off causing a big-ass leak and overheating my engine. I plan on taking the rest of the part to someone i know, this person is planning on making that tube exit from metal and putting a steel braided hose instead of the regular rubber.
