- What are if any common issues with 92 mr2 turbo? I went to pick up the mr2 I asked you guys about today and it was not ready. The CarMax tech came out and told me he would not buy the car. He said that year has a lot of issues. Funny thing is they are getting calls from other CM dealerships asking to buy it. $2K is not a bad price to me, even if I have to replace the turbo?
