5S-FE MK2 Non-Turbo Engine Charging issues.

I have a 93 NA MR2. Had problems with battery while at school. Had to get jumped every weekend to get home. When winter break started i had a local mechanic replace the alternator and tighten the battery cables ( seemed tight to me or at least as tight as i could get them) Car charged and ran great. Car got buried in snow last week as we got 25 inches and snow drifted over the car. Finally dug out the car and it started right up. Next day i decided to tackle my drivers side window problem
