1991 MR2 Turbo Engine Help

I recently bought a 1991 MR2 Turbo (white) with 124k miles (This is my first vehicle). When I bought the car i got it for 1700 cause the guy said the engine was knocking and he had another engine he would give me. So i took the car and the engine got it home and started tearing it apart. I dropped the engine and was putting the fly wheel on the new engine and realized the fly wheel was loose and there was no knocking in the engine so i tightened the fly wheel bolts to the torque that they
