- My 91 has a leaking evap. that I plan to change in the next few days. I already have the R12 oil that the service manual specifies to put back in. The mechanic I use will charge me $75 to evacuate the system and recharge it.
Just today I was talking to one of my friends who has a licnesed HVAC guy working for him. The guy repairs chillers and fridges. My friend says he can have the guy charge the system to 80% of R12 capacity with R414B after an evacuation holds a vaccum and it will
