- Did my first sw20 coolant flush today, it was a paint, took me the whole day. After i drained the radiator i saw chunks of ****, and decided i should probably do a full flush. So first i drained the radiator, then i removed one of the water inlets, the one near the t stat, and drained out some of the engine block, then i ran strait water over and over and redrained like, 5-6 times, yet it was still coming out brown. Finally i gave up and just put fresh coolant in. Filling took a little while,
