Problems after Jump Start

Soooo...My battery died on me tonight... and I need help I got a jump from a friend but apparently the jump wires were hooked up wrong (red to black and black to red) and sparks flew . I guess its my fault as I totally forgot the red cap fell off of my battery and I didn
