3S-GTE USDM Turbo Engine Alternator problem maybe?

So... went to start her up yesterday and no go... Just clicked... So, I pull up my other car and hook up the jumper cables and the two starts right up. I go to remove the jumper cables and as soon as I disconnect the first one the revs fall and the engine sputters and dies. So, I hook the jumper cables back up and start it up, leaving it to idle for longer and revving it a bit. I go back and remove the first jumper cable and wait... it runs ok for about 10 seconds this time then
