- OK, the other day i took a trip to the local mall and picked up a few things. Opened the back trunk and loaded it up, then closed it shut. Got home later that day and found that my trunk locking cylander was horizontal instead of vertical. As i put the key into the lock, it didnt budge as i assumed. Then i went to the manual lever to try and open it, but that also didnt work. So i was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to home to maybe get to the locking cylander and/or
