Driver window stuck down [Archive] - Toyota MR2 Message Board

My drivers window is stick down and every time I try to roll it up all I hear is the motor, but the window is still stuck at the down position. So I bought a used regulator here on the forum and took out the old one and it looked exactly the same... Both teeth were in good condition, and I tested the motor with the regulator our of the door frame and it works flawlessly. But when I reconnect everything back into the door the window would still not roll up. What could the issue be here?
